Good News

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! Maven's heart is now beating on its own.. :) Surgery is done.. :) Surgery was uneventful, meaning it went well. They will be moving him to the recovery room in a little while. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS.. THANK YOU LORD FOR GUIDING THE SURGEONS, DOCTORS AND NURSES..

Next phase, Maven will need to recover from his sleep on his own in the recovery room. So, we still need your prayers for a quick recovery..

Support for Baby Maven & Family

Hi Readers, Bloggers, or Anybody Reading this, tomorrow is Little Maven’s Heart Surgery, and we’d just like to ask your support of prayers for Baby Maven’s safety and for the successful operation. Below is the request of Maven’s Mom.
Dear supporters and warriors of Maven,
Maven will be admitted to St. Luke’s QC tomorrow, July 24 at 1pm. Tests will be done to ensure that he is fit and clear for his operation on Wednesday. As per admitting order, his operation is scheduled at 7am on Wednesday, July 25. To help raise awareness and create more prayer warriors for little Maven, we would like to ask you the following:
1. to encourage everyone to change their profile pic with Maven’s Heart Fund profile pic after you read this until Maven is cleared to go home;
2. to spend a few minutes of your time on July 25, beginning 7am onward, for the successful operation and quick recovery of Maven.
3. to continue sharing this to your friends so that we can bombard heaven’s door for Maven’s recovery.. :)

Sincerely, a mother who is eager to have her son’s heart fixed and go home to the loving and ever supportive family – Hannah

Let us all support & pray for Baby Maven!

It was a muddy endeavor!

Trip Round South

Last January, the Gang went for a trip to the south of Cebu. First we went to see the Gentle Giants (Whale Sharks, locally known as Butanding or Tuki) in Oslob. Truly, it was humbling experience to be surrounded by such magnificent creatures.

After which, the Gang headed to the Boljoon Church. The Church was built in the 18th century by the Augustinian Friars. It is said to be the oldest remaining stone church in Cebu. It has been declared as a National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Institute in 1999, and declared by the National Museum as a National Cultural Treasure the following year.

After taking photos in Boljoon, the Gang had lunch in Argao, then headed to Obong Spring. The place is easily accessible to tourists & locals alike. It was the perfect way to end a great trip.

Truly, there are still places to be discovered in Cebu. It's More Fun in the Philippines!
